Welcome to Langley Minor Hockey Association, where the love of hockey is driven by a passion for community. We believe in the transformative power of hockey - beyond a sport, it’s a way of life. A way of life that instills values of respect, teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play, building character both on and off the ice.

In support of this, LMHA believes a strong and healthy relationship amongst our local businesses and community leaders, demonstrates to everyone the importance of what teamwork will accomplish.

LMHA is one of the largest minor hockey organizations in BC.  Community is vital and presents a great opportunity for sponsor exposure.

Building Community Through Hockey

Have a community project, event or seasonal task that could use a helping hand?
Langley Minor Hockey Association is proud to connect our teams with opportunities to give back to the community that supports our players and families throughout the year.

If your community organization, charity, school or local initiative has a volunteer opportunity that could benefit from a team of energetic volunteers, we would love to hear from you.
Our Partnerships team will review your request and, where appropriate, work to connect you with an LMHA team that may be able to lend a hand.


Whether it is helping with a food drive, preparing Christmas hampers, supporting a community event, raking leaves, assisting with seasonal clean up or another community initiative, we believe there are countless ways our players and families can make a positive impact.

These opportunities are about more than getting a job done. They give our players the chance to experience the value of teamwork, leadership and giving back.

We will share photos and stories from LMHA teams participating in community initiatives through our association communications and social media channels.


A Few Things to Know

Community volunteer opportunities must:

  • Be appropriate and safe for youth volunteers

  • Provide a meaningful community benefit

  • Be suitable for participation by an LMHA team

  • Be coordinated in advance with LMHA

  • Be subject to team availability and appropriate association approval


While we will make every effort to connect requests with an LMHA team, participation cannot be guaranteed.
