Pre-Season Camps

LMHA PRE-SEASON CAMPS

Be prepared for the start of the season and hit the ice with confidence!! Langley Minor Hockey Association offers pre-season camps for athletes who want to dust off their skates and refine their skills heading into Evaluations. Our skilled coaches help prepare players for the next level of competition in their upcoming season.

If the camp you are trying to register for is at capacity, please contact operations@langleyminorhockey.ca to be added to our waitlist. Registration for all 2025 pre-season camps opens at 9:00am on May 15th.

NO REFUNDS will be issued past thirty (30) days prior to the start of any camp and missed ice times will NOT be refunded, with the exception of those with medical reasons and an appropriate physicians note.

SKATER CAMPS

WEEK 1 - Power Skating July 28th - August 1st

WEEK 3 - Positional Skills August 11th - 15th

GOALIE CAMPS

We are excited to be offering a variety of camps lead by Assertion Goaltending designed to make sure that your goalie steps back in the net for Evaluations with confidence! We also have a beginner camp for aspiring Goaltenders. Registration for all camps is on a weekly basis. Camp descriptions coming soon!

MEET THE INSTRUCTORS

  • James Bettauer

    INSTRUCTOR - Skater Camps

    James is Langley MHA's U11 A1 Head Coach and a Development Lead with our Association. Prior to joining LMHA, James played 12 seasons of professional hockey in Europe, with stints in the DEL, Germany's top league, as well as the EIHL, the top league in the United Kingdom. James brings significant experience in skills and player development, his personal experience playing both defense and forward has given him a comprehensive understanding of offensive and defensive tactics.

  • Luke Kasteel

    INSTRUCTOR - Skater Camps

    Luke is Langley MHA's U13 A1 Head Coach and a Development Lead with our Association. Prior to starting his coaching career and joining LMHA, Luke played two seasons of professional hockey in the United States. Luke is known as an offensive skills coach and excels at breaking down complex skills into small sequential pieces for quicker skill acquisition. Luke specializes in forward and defensemen-specific skills, tactics, and techniques.
