The Hockey Canada Insurance Program provides supplemental assistance to BC Hockey members for injuries incurred during hockey sanctioned activities. Mandatory/Voluntary participation can depend upon your Branch affiliation and level of play.

ThinkFirst | Parachute - Preventing Injuries. Saving Lives.

Think First's Hockey has info on concussion, protecting your brain and spinal cord, as well as and return-to-play after you have recovered from concussion symptoms. This video has been endorsed by the NHL, NHLPA, the IIHF and Hockey Canada.

ThinkFirst Canada has joined with Safe Communities Canada, SMARTRISK, and Safe Kids Canada to create Parachute, a national, charitable organization dedicated to preventing injury and saving lives. Parachute’s injury prevention programming and advocacy efforts are designed to help Canadians reduce their risks of injury while enjoying long lives lived to the fullest.

The Parachute Canada website brings together the content from the four legacy organizations, including ThinkFirst Canada.
