REGISTER FOR LMHA WEEK LONG PRE-SEASON CAMPS!
We are excited to share our Pre-Season Summer Camp line up! LMHA is running (4) weeks of camps for skaters and (4) weeks of camps for goalies. There is a different theme for each week so skaters and goalies are encouraged to register for multiple camps, applicable to your Division. Each skater camp has it's own registration link. Our Goalie Camps are also available on a weekly basis with dates, times, and registration found at the bottom of this page! Registration for all LMHA Goalie Camps can be completed from one registration link.
- Priority registration goes to LMHA members. If you are from outside of our Association and interested in registering, please contact info@langleyminorhockey.ca.
- There will be no refunds issued after July 15th, 2023 unless for medical reasons with a medical doctor's note.
- Partial or pro-rated camp registration is not available.
- If a camp is at capacity, contact operations@langleyminorhockey.ca to be added to our waitlist.
- LMHA reserves the right to revise Pre-Season Camp offerings based on registration.
WEEK #1 Development Opportunities for U6 to U18 Skaters - JULY 31ST TO AUGUST 4TH, 2023
Camp Description: Week 1 - Powerskating
LMHA’s Powerskating & Edges Camps will focus on helping players improve their skating mechanics as well as teach them new skating skills and techniques appropriate for their age.

Camp Description: Week 2 - Shooting & Puck Skills
LMHA’s Shooting & Puck Skills Camps will focus on helping players improve their puck handling and shooting skills, while teaching them new techniques to utilize in games and practice.

WEEK #3 Development Opportunities for U6 to U18 Skaters - AUGUST 14TH TO 18TH, 2023
Camp Description: Week 3 - Intro to Positional Play
LMHA's Intro to Positional Play Camp will focus on teaching players basic hockey skills, as well as providing them with an understanding of the different areas of the ice. This Camp is appropriate for newer players, as well as players with no previous experience.

Camp Description: Week 3 - Positional Skills
LMHA’s Positional Skills Camps focus on teaching players the roles of different positions on the ice and how they work together in a team environment. Players will learn the different skills for each position.

WEEK #4 Development Opportunities for U6 to U18 Skaters - AUGUST 19TH TO 23RD, 2023
Camp Description: Week 4 - Intro to Game Play
LMHA’s Intro to Game Play is designed for newer players and focuses on teaching fundamental skills and applying them in 'game-like' settings in order to lay the foundation for a successful season. This Camp is appropriate for newer players, as well as players with no previous experience.

LMHA’s Rep Prep Camps focus on preparing players for the competitive environment of Rep Evaluations. Players will push each other in high-intensity, small-area, and battle drills.

Pre-Season Goalie Camps - WEEKLY FROM JULY 31ST - AUGUST 23RD, 2023
Camp Description: Week 1 - Goalie ‘Rust’ Removal
LMHA’s Goalie ‘Rust’ Removal Camp is a generalized goalie camp to assist players in getting back on the ice and re-establishing their muscle memory, and mechanics. Sessions will focus on establishing a foundation of good habits for technical movements and save selection.
Camp Description: Week 2 - Powerskating for Goaltenders
LMHA’s Powerskating for Goaltenders Camp is designed to assist goaltenders in developing their mobility, balance, edge work, and upper body control. Proper movement techniques are essential for goaltenders to maintain pre-save positioning and post-save recoveries.
Camp Description: Week 3 - Save Selection & Post-Save Recoveries
LMHA’s Save Selection & Reaction Camp will focus on teaching goaltenders to think critically about which save technique they will use in various circumstances, and how to react post-save. Knowing which saves should be used in different scenarios will allow goalies to think more critically about how they react to offensive possession and shots from different areas inside the defensive zone.
Camp Description: Week 4 - Intro to Goaltending
LMHA is offering an Introduction to Goaltending Camp for young players that are interested in or considering becoming a goaltender and would like to try the position. Sessions will focus on teaching goalies basic movement and save techniques and is appropriate for all ages and experience levels.
Association goalie equipment is available to be signed out for goaltenders to use for this camp. If you require equipment please contact: operations@langleyminorhockey.
Camp Description: Week 4 - Goaltenders Rep. Prep
LMHA’s Rep. Prep Camp for Goaltenders is designed for goaltenders looking to play ‘A’ hockey this season and will work to prepare goaltenders for LMHA’s Rep. Evaluations. As a part of the Rep. Prep camp, goalies will be put through all drills included in LMHA’s Rep Goalie Evaluations.
