LMHA HOSTS THE FIRST SHIFT PROGRAM!
In partnership with Hockey Canada, The National Hockey League (NHL), National Hockey League Players Association (NHLPA) and Bauer Hockey, we are excited to announce that our Association will offer the First Shift program for the 2023-24 Season!
No Equipment? No Experience? No Problem. This program is designed for children between the ages of 6 and 10. Hosted in conjunction with the NHL/NHLPA, First Shift wants to help you fall in love with hockey. All participants receive 6 on-ice sessions and full Bauer equipment for only $299! For the 2023-24 Season, LMHA is offering the following:
- November 2nd: Welcome & Fitting Event
- November 11th - December 16th: First Shift Program Ice Times (Saturdays 3:15 to 4:15 PM @ Sportsplex)
If you have a child aged 6-10 that wants to have FUN, build FRIENDSHIPS and be part of a TEAM, we encourage you to click on the link below to learn more and register to secure your spot.
*Please note that you must not have been registered in a First Shift program or have played minor hockey in the past to be eligible.
At the conclusion of the First Shift Program, LMHA will also be running a Transition Program for interested First Shift participants. This program will include 8 additional ice times from January 6th to February 29th and is designed to keep players active, on the ice, and further their love for hockey!
