Event Coordinator Introduction
On behalf of the LMHA Board of Directors, we are pleased to announce that we have hired Emily Allen as our LMHA Event Coordinator!
Growing up in North Vancouver, Emily played her entire minor hockey career at the North Shore Winter Club. She discovered her passion for the sport at an early age and when she learned that a career as a professional hockey player may not be in her cards, she switched her goal to working in hockey. Striving towards this goal, Emily graduated from Brock University with a Sports Management Degree. She then spent five years working at the grass roots level of hockey in a variety of roles with a local minor hockey association, but knew her true passion would be working in event management. Emily is extremely excited to be joining the Langley Minor Hockey Association as the Event Coordinator, where she plans to use events to foster a positive and strong hockey community.
Welcome Emily. We look forward to working with you!
LMHA Rep Hockey Announcement
As we approach the July 31st, 11:59 pm deadline to register to participate in Rep Evaluations (for those who have not already done so), LMHA would like to announce that it is our intention to have the following number of Rep teams per Division:

Under-11 (A1 / A2 / A3 / A4)

Under-13 (A1 / A2 / A3 / A4)
-
Under-15 (A1 / A2 / A3 / A4)
-
Under-18 (A1 / A2 / A3)
Please note, this is subject to final registration numbers and the depth of each Division’s skill level. Please remember, being a part of any Rep program comes with additional time and financial commitments, including attending Provincials during Spring Break should your team qualify.
2023-24 LMHA Development Structure
In addition to the many positive changes which have already enhanced LMHA Athlete Development, there is much more in the works for both our C and A programming! Stay tuned for the launch of these details being posted on our website next week!
Langley Minor Hockey Association is proud to offer a wide range of Development resources and opportunities to athletes of all ages and categories in order to improve their on-ice abilities and enhance their experience of hockey. Our Association is committed to providing each athlete with the required development and support in order for them to reach their potential and goals as a player both on and off the ice.
