Hello LMHA Parents,
We hope that you are as excited as we are to be returning to the rink for the 2022-2023 season. In advance of Rep. Evaluations, LMHA would like to update you on a few upcoming items in order to help you be as prepared as possible.
Rep Evaluations – PHASE 1 – NO Spectator Policy
For this season, LMHA has made the decision to not allow spectators in the arena for Phase 1 of Rep Evaluations for U11, U13, U15 & U18.
LMHA understands the desire of parents and family members to be in the arena to watch and support their player(s) during their evaluation; however, for the benefit of players and LMHA, this will not be permitted. The best way that you can support is to volunteer during Rep Evaluations. There will be numerous volunteer opportunities available shortly, and we sincerely hope that you will review them and sign up. A reminder that Rep Evaluation sessions with insufficient volunteers will not begin until such time as volunteers are available.
Parents in violation of this no spectator policy will risk their player’s evaluation results as LMHA will remove their player(s) from the ice until such time as they are no longer in violation. Players removed from sessions will receive a ‘0’ score for that session. Reminder that this policy only applies to Phase 1 of Rep Evaluations.
LMHA sincerely appreciates your understanding and assistance in facilitating a smooth and successful Rep Evaluations for our players.
Rep Evaluations – Volunteer Sign-Up
Rep Evaluations are a large undertaking for which LMHA requires assistance from parents and volunteers in numerous roles. We kindly ask that you consider volunteering and review the different positions available. We also kindly request that you only sign up for roles which you are certified and/or prepared to perform. To ensure that each family has opportunity, we are limiting signup to two sessions per family to start. Once the initial time frame has lapsed, we will re-circulate any remaining positions.
