Happy New Year!

We are seeing that multiple associations are implementing tighter safety protocols and some are even delaying the start of hockey.

At this time, LMHA is reminding our members of our current protocols as well as implementing some small adjustments.
1) All families and athletes must stay home and not attend a practice / game if experiencing any cold or flu symptoms. If you are in close contact with a positive Covid-19 case, please follow the BC Thrive Assessment guidelines:
2) No indoor pre-game warm-ups are permitted.

3) Mask up – Reminder of the importance to wear your mask at all times with the exception of when players are wearing their helmet. We also now require that players and team officials use hand sanitizer entering and exiting the dressing room. Reminder that team officials must wear masks at all times on the bench.

4) U9 Divisions and younger, please come to the rink fully dressed. You can put on your skates,  helmets, and gloves at the rink if required.  Please also do not arrive more than 30 minutes prior to your ice time.
5) All age groups must limit your dressing room time. This includes coach talks both before and after ice times.
6) Vaccination checking needs to be done for every ice time and at every rink.
Please ensure you communicate the above with visiting teams.

LMHA realizes this is not where we wanted to be to start 2022 but please help us to keep our players on the ice by complying with the above safety protocol .

Thank you!
