Please note that at the AGM, it is the memberships role to vote in the number of Directors needed to complete the 15 Voting Positions. Specific Positions ie Division Managers are not voted on, this is the role of the new executive at the first meeting after the AGM.
Joining the Executive is a rewarding experience, without these volunteers LMHA could not have over 1100 players on the ice to play hockey. Every position of the executive is a significant time commitment and if you have questions we would be happy to answer those for you. At this time of year when we are seeking new Executive members the question always arises “What positions are open?” Since we do not know until after the AGM how many Directors we will have to fill our total number of positions, this is a hard question to answer. It is discussed at the first Executive meeting and we work to find the best fit for every person. We hope you will consider joining us on the Executive.
