January 3, 2010 A Bantam Winter Classic Thank You |
|
The Bantam A3 team would like to thank LMHA for their support of the Langley Bantam Winter Classic Tournament held Dec 26th to 28th at Twin Rinks. We hosted 10 teams in two tiers and the tournament was a huge success. We had a short time line at a very busy time of year but our tournament committee pulled things together and our parents spent their Christmas Holidays timekeeping, scorekeeping, selling 50/50 etc. A huge thank you to the all the volunteers and thank you to all the other divisions and teams, Ross Blamey, the Burgess Family and Rhonda Starinieri who volunteered to help out of the goodness of their hearts.
Thanks Talia and Brenna, you guys are great!
Our boys represented Langley well with some hard fought, well played games and a bronze medal in Tier 2. We also had several positive comments about the refereeing so thanks to Ed Adams and his team....................
